5 Alive has been responsible for many conversions over the years.

Pictured is the most recent engine conversion consisting of a 5 GT Turbo lump inserted into a lowly 1.2 Clio. This has never been done to a new shape clio before. Many hurdles to be overcome with a task like this, fitting a 5 Turbo Scorpion exhaust system and selecting the ideal engine/gearbox mounts. All went well and the car goes extremely well with no mods to the original 5 Turbo performance.

Previous Clio conversions have included a 1.8 RSI engine & running gear into a 1.4 RT for a very satisfied policeman.
